Obsolete
This SOOP is now retired. R_SMALL_HRES_HCAD_Wave-Stereoscopy and R_SMALL_HRES_HCAD_Atmospheric_Dynamics_Structure now address the quiet Sun- and sunspot-related science goals, respectively.
This SOOP is that same as R_SMALL_HRES_HCAD_Wave-Stereoscopy for quiet sun and R_SMALL_HRES_HCAD_Atmospheric_Dynamics_Structure for sunspots (aside from not needing EUI). Propose to remove and add the objectives to those SOOPs.
Description
SOOP defined for mode physics:
needs HRT at high cadence at highest resolution (better than HMI), at modest (~30degrees) separation angle to Earth.
Targets both QS and sunspots with same set of observable, at perihelion for highest resolution.
Duration : hours
-> could be covered by RS burst or photospheric dynamics
ONLY difference is that this science goal need small angle with the Earth!
Instrument | Mode | Comment |
---|---|---|
PHI | PHI_nominal_HRT_0 (in case of sunspot) PHI_localseismology_HRT_3 (in case of QS) | QS only needs intensity and v_LOS, all parameters for sunspot |
