This table summarises the properties of the default remote sensing windows for Option E. Calculations were made at 1 day resolution so there will be rounding and remote sensing window dates will not be identical to those found in the CReMA. This is also becuase the CReMA did not move overlapping windows, here we do so. Dates of GAMs are included as well for reference. The columns of the table are defined as follows:

Period: The MTP period to which the RSW belongs. This is a link to the equivalent Orbit Plot.

Window/GAM: The type of RSW (perihelion, south/north latitude extrema) or GAM.

EXT Start: The start date of the possible 4 day RSW Extension for this window. Where this is marked N/A the window is concatenated with the previous window so no extension is possible. Where it is in italic the extension is shortened to fit in a gap between RSWs that is less than four days.

Start: The start date of the RSW or date of the GAM.

End: The end date of the RSW

Hcentric Dist Range: Three columns giving the heliocentric distance of the spacecraft in AU at the start, centre and end of the RSW, respectively.

Hgraphic Latitude Range: Three columns giving the heliographic latitude of the spacecraft in degrees at the start, centre and end of the RSW, respectively.

SC-Sun-Earth Angle: Three columns giving the heliocentric angular separation between the spacecraft and Earth projected onto the solar equatorial plane, at the start centre and end of the RSW. This is the difference in heliographic longitude between the Sun-Earth line and Sun-spacecraft line.

Conjunction: If and when during the remote sensing window there will be a solar conjunction as defined in the CReMA. Note this does NOT include the RSW Extensions.

Safe Mode Comms Blackout: According to the CReMA, If and when during the remote sensing window, should the spacecraft experience a safe mode, we will be out of communications with it. Note this does NOT include the RSW Extensions.

Largest Comms Roll: The largest comms roll angle in degrees (based on rolling once per day) during the remote sensing window, assuming an equatorial baseline attitude.

GAM Restrictions: Whether or not any of the RSW occurs during an interval close to a GAM where we ill have restricted operations. Here we assume 31 days before the GAM and 7 days afterwards are restricted. This is probably a bit conservative. Those windows where there are GAM restrictions will probably have to be moved and have been highlighted in red.

The table is sortable by each column.
