Science planning:

For the very first NMP orbit, we avoid triggered observations and run more synoptic-like programs.

  • I_DEFAULT outside of RSwindows, L_IS_STIX on inside all RSwindows
  • MTP5 - perihelion: 
    Can address objectives requiring Metis & SoloHI to observe Earth-directed Transients, as SolO is in quadrature with SoloHI looking towards Earth: 
    • L_FULL_HRES_HCAD_Coronal-Dynamics  running for 10 days
      (L_FULL_HRES_HCAD_Eruption-Watch would be possible as well, but as it involves triggers it does not seem ideal for first orbit)
    • EUI/HRI and SPICE are not involved in the SOOP above. They can run individual programs that fit in the TM corridors, and are valuable at disk centre. Individual SOOPs will be assigned later.
      Current model: EUI_HRI_QS (EUV_CAD=600 LYA_CAD=600), SPICE_WAVES
